Watch the temperature. All sensors sense what you want plus temperature. This means you should be careful to avoid any sudden change in temperature. While your autopilot will adjust for changes in temperature, accuracy will decrease while the temperature is changing. For example, if you have air vents that allow increased air flow as the drone accelerates this can cause a sudden change in temperature as the drone accelerates from hovering to forward flight. When the drone is hovering, there is no airflow over the on-board electronics so their temperature will increase. Once your drone starts moving airflow over the electronics will cool the electronics. Remember also that all electronics have a maximum operating temperature and the temperature inside your drone is higher than it is outside. If you choose black or any other dark colour for your drone you will dramatically increase the internal temperatures when it is sitting in the sun.
